Dayakattai is a traditional South Indian board game that is played on an 8×8 grid. The goal of the game is to capture all of your opponent’s pieces. The game is played with two players, each of whom has 16 pieces. The pieces are placed on the board in a specific starting position. The players then take turns moving their pieces around the board. Pieces can move forward, backward, left, or right. They can also capture opponent’s pieces by jumping over them. The game ends when one player has captured all of their opponent’s pieces.
