How to Play

  • 12 black checkers pieces

• Gameplay

  1. Set up the board with the black pieces on the dark squares and the red pieces on the light squares.
  2. Players take turns moving their pieces diagonally forward one square at a time.
  3. If a player can jump over an opponent’s piece, they must do so.
  4. A piece that reaches the other side of the board becomes a king.
  5. Kings can move diagonally forward or backward one square at a time.
  6. The game ends when one player has captured all of their opponent’s pieces or blocked them so that they cannot move.

Winning Criteria: The player who captures all of their opponent’s pieces or blocks them so that they cannot move wins the game.
