Atya Patya is a traditional Indian dice game that is played with two dice. The game is simple to learn and can be played by people of all ages. The object of the game is to be the first player to reach a score of 100 points.

How to Play

• Number of Players Required: The game can be played by 2 or more players.

• What You’ll Need

• Two dice
• Paper and pen for keeping score

• Gameplay

  1. To start the game, each player rolls the dice once.
  2. The player with the highest roll goes first.
  3. On your turn, you will roll the dice twice.
  4. The first roll determines the number of points you will score.
  5. The second roll determines the number of turns you will take.
  6. If you roll a 1 on the first roll, you will score 0 points.
  7. If you roll a 2 on the first roll, you will score 1 point.
  8. If you roll a 3 on the first roll, you will score 2 points.
  9. If you roll a 4 on the first roll, you will score 3 points.
  10. If you roll a 5 on the first roll, you will score 4 points.
  11. If you roll a 6 on the first roll, you will score 5 points.
  12. After you have rolled the dice twice, you will move your marker around the board the number of spaces indicated by your second roll.
  13. If you land on a space that is already occupied by another player, you will bump them back to the start.
  14. The first player to reach 100 points wins the game.
