The Resistance: Avalon - A Quest for Loyalty in the Face of Hidden Evil
Avalon is a social deduction game of hidden identities, loyalty, and deception for 5-10 players. Two teams, the Loyal Servants of Arthur and the Minions of Mordred, vie for control of the future of Britain. Merlin, a member of the Resistance, possesses knowledge of some evil players but must be careful not to reveal themself.
Description: The Resistance: Avalon is a thrilling game of hidden identities and intrigue. Players are secretly assigned to be members of the Resistance, who are trying to complete successful missions to save Britain, or members of the Minions of Mordred, who are working to sabotage those missions. Through voting, discussion, and deduction, players try to root out the hidden traitors while the loyal Resistance members complete their missions. Merlin, a special member of the Resistance, knows who some of the Minions of Mordred are but must be cautious not to reveal themself too soon, or risk being mistaken for a traitor.

How to Play:
- What You’ll Need:
- A Devious Group of Players (5-10)
- The Resistance: Avalon Deck (with quest cards, player role cards, and tokens)
- Gameplay:
- Deal cards: Secretly deal role cards to each player, assigning them as members of the Resistance, Minions of Mordred, or Merlin.
- Voting on Quests: Players vote on teams to complete quests. The Minions of Mordred will try to sabotage these votes.
- Completing Quests: Players on chosen quest teams reveal success or failure cards. The Resistance needs a majority of successful quests to win.
- Discussion and Deduction: Through discussion and deduction, players try to identify the Minions of Mordred. Merlin can offer subtle clues to help the Resistance without revealing themself.
- The Game Ends: The Resistance wins if they complete enough quests. The Minions of Mordred win if they successfully sabotage enough quests or eliminate Merlin.
